Irksome Question

Shri Ram Maheshwari The sage Who knows the enshrouded with characteristic ease Come out in haste to appraise me

Oh! The sage
Who knows the enshrouded with characteristic ease
Come out in haste to appraise me

Life sways in yes and nay
Good and bad; positive and negative
And in hope,I strive to hit the way
As my mind stumbles in cheers and jeers
With muscles infirm and frazzled

The cornea has become a teary spring
Bedewing my goals with hopeful tears
The bones have become wearied with dwindling gains
Neglecting its might for what to gain

Un-minding my dismal mind
Dispelling its galling pain
In the absence of ink and pen
Tears and bones come to play
Swaying in despair and hope
To pen its irksome question:
'Must men pass through these stages of life?'
